By popular request, which is more than you can say for most “new” bands these days (groan!). Excellent slice of action – one of the few this week – and a bit of genuine excitement to boot. Just for once I’ll recommend the B-side too (recorded live at the Marquee) – and a song once named “TV Stars” and now affectionately known as “Albert Tatlock”.
What vibrant little rebels these chaps (I presume they’re chaps) are! Selling point: Alright team, we’ve found one to get the kids going” Give it the full stick, whack it out in white vinyl in a glossy picture bag and wait for the good reviews. We know it’s good product – let’s just show the lads we’ve got faith in them. (Record Mirror, 10/02/79)
